Welcome to Home of The Tour de USA®

The Tour de USA®  is a program of the Cancer Journeys Foundation.  Our goal is to create unique and fun adventures that create lasting memories, new friends, raise awareness of the importance of early detection in defeating cancer and, along the way, raise funds for the Cancer Journeys Foundation’s programs that provide guidance and support America’s 17+ million cancer survivors and 4.3 million disabled veterans..

We love driving cars. [We also love motorcycles!] We love adventures. We love meeting new people, making new friends, and creating lifelong memories. We also love good food. And, most especially, we love doing all of these while supporting America’s cancer survivor and disabled veterans communities.

About the Tour de USA® Automobile Adventure Program

Along with 238,247 other men in 2002, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December, just after my birthday. Because of my accidental early diagnosis and treatment, I am still alive and going strong today.

I created the Prostate Cancer Awareness Project non-profit in 2006 to create save lives through awareness and early detection. In 2010 and 2011, 76 volunteers held trans-American motorcycle relay rallies from Los Angeles to Washington, DC, and back. We recreated this event in 2018 using cars and renamed it the Tour de USA®. All of the profits from Tour de USA® events go to the Cancer Journeys Foundation.  Click the following link to visit the Foundation – Cancer Journeys Foundation.

Our Programs

VetsRally4Vets

This is our newest adventure program, aimed at generating funds to provide companion dogs to veterans dealing with depression and PTSD. The inaugural will be this summer at Summit Point Raceway, just 60 miles from Washington, DC. Click the following link for details: 2021 VetsRally4Vets.

Wine Rallies

We host periodic car rallies along California’s beautiful Central Coast. Our first outing was to Paso Robles, and we’re now planning for future trips to Santa Ynez, Solvang, and Los Olivos once we have Covid-19 under control.

One-Day Twisty Rallies

These are one-day adventures that you can easily turn into a weekend getaway. For example, the Temecula – Palomar – Julian – Temecula loop. Click the following link for information on The Tour de USA Twisties.
